Tessa's Story...
Hi, I'm Tessa and I look like a Bombay cat, although I don't have the papers to prove it! I am jet black with a few white hairs and have lovely yellow eyes. My three siblings and I were found by a kind stranger, abandonned, out in the open, in the hot sun, with our embilical cords still attached, on May 24, 2012. She took us in and bottle fed us and found this nice Rescue group to loan us a surrogate mother cat who nursed us, too. We have been in many foster homes, but have done well in all. I have been around other cats, and dogs of all sizes. It can take me some time to adjust to a new home, but your patience with me will be well rewarded! I have the loudest purr you have ever heard! I love to be affectionate and I play very nicely with mysblings or curl up in your lap for a snuggle! I am spayed, have all my shots, combo tested negative and am micro chipped. I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings, especially Tabitha. We are sleeping together in the one photo. My adoption donation is $100 for me or $175 if you adopt two of us. Please call or text (925) 209-6480 or email to learn more about me or to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a San Ramon Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in San Ramon, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in San Ramon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Ramon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Ramon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Ramon paves the way for another one to be saved.
