Bertha's Story...
Bertha is a super sweet and energetic terrier mix. When we saw her at Animal Care Services she had just been returned by a family who adopted her because they could no longer afford to keep her. So we decided to give her a third chance at finding a true forever home. As we walked up to her kennel, she was so excited to see us. Not because she knew who we were but because all she wanted was someone to give her attention and some good petting. She loves running around and playing with other dogs, and does amazing with kids. If you and your family feel that you can provide Bertha with the love and the home she deserves visit our website www.snipsa.org to fill out an adoption application or email us at snipsaadoptions@gmail.com

About Our Rescue Group...
SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bertha, a San Antonio Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
