Chelsea's Story...
Chelsea is a member of the Shores 6. These six delightful kittens were found on a balcony at the Shores when they were just wee ones and were brought into the ACF where they joined the Itty Bitty Kitty Program.

They were fostered by one of our volunteers until they were weaned and graduated to our Teeny Weany Program and passed on to a second foster home.

In both homes they received top notch care and with all that TLC are some of the most social, healthy, happy and affectionate kittens available for adoption.

Chelsea’s siblings Grainger, Gunner and Wembley have already been adopted. Chelsea, Finchley and Heath are still waiting for the purrfect home.

Chelsea is a DSH orange tabby girl - a real cutie, but a bit headstrong according to her foster mom.

If you are looking to adopt a very special little kitten – or two – come meet Chelsea and her siblings at the Coronado ACF. The ACF is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (except holidays).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Coronado Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
