found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Great Pyreness are considered an extra large breed of dog. Both parents are about 90-100lbs so expect large pups! Both parents have been lovingly farm raised as working and family companions. They are moderate shedding and new families should expect regular grooming to limit shedding around the house and keep the soft fluffy coats free of matting and debris.
The Great Pyrenees is a capable and imposing guardian, devoted to its family, and somewhat wary of strangers – human or canine. They are often used to guard livestock. They are generally calm, well- mannered, courageous, very loyal and obedient, gentle and affectionate with those he loves. New owners must be sure to socialize them well with people, place and noises. They do best with owners that can be firm, but calm, confident and consistent with the dog. Setting rules the dog must follow and sticking to them! Obedience classes would be a great idea for new families and their pup! If left alone inside the home without the proper amount of exercise and or leadership they can become destructive. Though they tend to be calm and rather lazy indoors they are not suited to apartment/condo living.
If you would like to take one of these babies home, please submit an application for consideration.
