Radar's Info...
| Breed: | Chihuahua | Color: | Brown/Chocolate - With White | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Male | ID#: | 13403 |
One look at those beautiful ears and you'll probably figure out why we named him RADAR. Radar is a loving, sensitive Chihuahua who loves to cuddle. Radar is about one-and-a-half years old. Even though he's a young guy, he's pretty mellow. Radar gets along nicely with other dogs, and he'd probably appreciate having a dog buddy in his new home. Radar loves to be very close to his special person, and he would probably do best in a home with older, considerate children. Radar walks nicely on the leash, and he would make a perfect house (or apartment) dog. The shelter staff is not sure if Radar is house trained, so they're still watching him to be sure. Radar is a smart fellow, and he's eager to please. Please visit Radar in kennel #53, then ask the helpful staff if you can get to know him better in our lovely play yard.
Shelter Info...
We are the Animal Shelter for the City of El Cajon. We also house animals for the City of La Mesa. We take in strays and animals relinquished by their owners from these two City's only. We adopt out the animals that are not claimed by their owners. You do not have to live within the City to adopt an animal from us. We sometimes have animals other than dogs and cats.
We are located in the City of El Cajon which is east of San Diego. 1275 N. Marshall is two blocks north of Fletcher Parkway, Marshall runs parallel with the trolley tracks.
We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm. The latest we start an adoption is 4:30. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $80.00 and cats are $80.00 All other animal adoption fee's are based on the type of animal.
We do an evaluation with you and the animal to be sure that it is the best animal for you. We require that all children in the household under 9 years old be evaluated with the animal and if you are adopting a dog and you currently own a dog, your dog needs to be evaluated with the new dog to be sure they get along.
