Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia's adoption fee is $350.
Hi, my name is Mia and I am 6 years old. I am a good girl, clean in the house (unless it is raining, then I don't like to go out). I am a bit shy with new people for a few minutes, and then I am a cuddle bug with both adults and children. I love to play, go for walks and car rides, but I also like my lap time with people. I have lived with another dog for all of my life, so my new home should have another gentle doggy to keep me company. My foster mom says that I am "in touch with my inner hound" which means I howl a bit when you first leave me, so I am not suitable for an apartment. I do settle down in a minute or so after you leave. I bark at strange sounds from outside; after all, it is my job to protect our home.
Note from the foster mom: Mia is a wonderful girl, she plays with the other dogs in the foster home, and has been out to several social functions. As long as she knew where to find me, she was quite comfortable around crowds and strangers. Mia was surrendered to rescue due to family circumstances and through no fault of her own. I would say she is one of the most highly adoptable dogs I have fostered in a number of years.
