Petunia's Story...
Prior to discussing our dogs we will need you to complete our Adoption Application If you are interested please complete the preliminary application on our homepage at
As with all our other pets please have an excellent verifiable vet history if you wish to be considered to adopt.

Petunia has an amazing personality, she is so much fun! She loves activity and is very comical. We thoroughly enjoy her company. She is about 12 pounds and has a horrible scar down one side of her body. Initial vet exams revealed she was probably hit by a car in her past life, her pelvis was fractured and she has some other damage that healed. We plan to make the rest of P-Tunas life fabulous! If you think you can offer her a life fit for a queen please do apply!
Adoption Fee: $250.00 All of our dogs have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, dewormed, had capstar and/or frontline applied, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, and microchipped with registration pre paid.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a McDonough Pekingese/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Chihuahua for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Pekingese/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pekingese/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
