My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 1/10/13 - Cowboy is coming back to foster care. His 3 adult adopters have decided that it's too much trouble to have a dog that prefers to be leash walked to empty his bladder rather than just be put out in the yard. So instead of walking him, they've been putting on a bellyband when he's in the house, which he doesn't like - and has started nipping at the mother when she's attempting to do it.

Cowboy is a cute little 6 yr. old Lhasa Apso surrendered by his owners who could no longer care for him. Whether it's on the sofa, the floor, or in bed he loves being near his human. He is an absolute sweetheart who loves to cuddle up close.

Having grown up with at least two brothers (indications are that there were several dogs in the home besides the 2 brothers that were relinquished with him), Cowboy has decided that he would like to be an only child. He prefers to have your attention to himself...and he will be very loyal to you. Additionally, he isn't a chow hound, so leaving his food down would be a better option for him - impossible when there are other dogs around that love to eat!

Cowboy walks well on a leash and has no problem with stairs. He gets anxious if crated. He is healthy with no medical issues we are aware of and is microchipped.

Cowboy is being fostered in Macungie, PA and his asking adoption fee is $200.
