Clover's Story...
Hello, My name is Clover!

I am a very sweet girl. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. I was so scared in that shelter. But, now that I have been rescued I am as happy as can be. When I was young the people that had me weren't very nice and they cut my ears very short. That made me sad, but everyone tells me how beautiful I am, and that makes me smile. I love to play with dogs of all sizes! It's so much fun to be able to run and play now. I also love adults and children. I have been told I'm a very good girl. I would love to have a family of my own. I dream of going to the dog park and then snuggling up to watch a movie. And toys...I love toys. If you give me a chance I promise you will love me. I don't get along with cats very well. So, if you don't have a cat I think you would be the perfect home for me. I have an underbite. I'm not sure what the means, but Miss Bridget said that it's adorable and gives me character.

I promise that I will always keep you company, make you smile when you feel like crying and give you lots of kisses. Won't you please give me a chance?

If you would like to meet me or learn more about me, you can call the good people that saved my life. Their email is or you can call them at 502-724-2773.

I hope you choose me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clover, a Louisville Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
