Storm's Story...
Storm: 5 Years old . Storm is black and white with blue eyes. Storm, Rue, and Prim were saved from a neglect situation here in Ohio where the owner kept them in a 6x8 ft shed with no light. They were thin, scared, infested in fleas, and poor little Prim was really pregnant. We saved all three and they are here with us. Despite all he has been through, he is doing just great! He is such a happy, sweet dog with a wonderful heart of gold! He is very laid back and gets along great here with the other dogs. He is now with us and can be seen along with many other huskies here. All our dogs are up to date on DA2PPv shots, Rabies shots, Bordetella and spayed/neutered. They are tested for heartworm and kept on preventative while in our care. They are all also microchipped, crate trained, and house broken. Most are untested with cats.

The $250.00 adoption fee covers the fees we are charged getting dogs out of shelters and the vet work. We aren't making any profit. If you would like more information contact Jen at Jennifer@howlatthemoonrescue.com. Or visit our website at www.howlatthemoonrescue.com and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Zanesville Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Zanesville, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Zanesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Zanesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Zanesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Zanesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
