Ball....ball....did someone say "play ball"? Toby is a 5 year old male who LOVES to play ball. He always has one in his mouth just in case a willing human comes along and wants to throw it for him. This big guy came to us after being abandoned by his previous owners because they had a baby and no longer wanted to take care of him. His is just a big teddy bear who is super cuddly and when he's done playing ball, he just wants to be in your lap or hanging out with his "fans". Toby is one big goofy guy who makes everyone laugh with his silly antics.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Houston Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Houston, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
