Daisy's Story...
Lovely DAISY is a gentle, tender-hearted Chihuahua who is just six months old. She's sweet and sensitive, and she will be loyal through-and-through once she gets to know you. Daisy gets along well with other dogs, and she would do best in a home with older, considerate children. Daisy would make an excellent house (or apartment) dog. She enjoys taking walks, and she loves to snuggle up close. The shelter staff is not sure if Daisy is house trained, but she is young and eager to learn under your patient guidance. Please visit Daisy in kennel #54 at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, then ask the helpful staff if you can get better acquainted with her in our play yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
