Chip's Story...
PLEASE ENJOY THE WONDERFUL VIDEO OF CHIP!
Chip is a 10-week old Maltese/Poodle mix. He is being fostered in a home with nine dogs and a cat with whom he gets along wonderfully. He's all puppy! He's curious about everything and shows no fear, rather he has a confident nature. Chip also loves being cuddled by everyone who walks through the door. Due to his diminutive 2 pound body, Chip needs to be placed in a home with older children only. He has received his first set of puppy shots and he's been wormed. Reimbursement of his neutering will be paid. There is a $275 adoption donation for Chip. This helps to reimburse us for our veterinary expenses: vaccines, worming, micro-chipping, manditory spay/neuter, etc. If you are interested in adopting Chip, please contact Kathi Jackson (352) 596-1214 or email kathijackson@bellsouth.net to receive an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Weeki Wachee Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) puppy from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
