Luna's Story...
Luna is a sweet girl. She is the mom to our Michigan litter. She has mellowed in a home environment. She often sleeps with her head on her foster mom's feet. When she goes to get her keys Luna goes into her crate and sits. Luna will sit and wait for her food bowl to be placed on the floor. She has not chewed anything she is not supposed to for months now. She LOVES to Fetch a ball. She will fetch as long as you are willing to throw :). She loves attention but is not obnoxious at all about it. She is completely house trained . She enjoys playing with other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Garden City German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Garden City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
