My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INITIAL BIO 9/20/12: Hi, My name is Bubbles, and I am a 2 or 3 year old 8 pound yorkie mix girl. I was picked up by a high kill shelter. I was also spayed there. After nobody claimed me in my 5 day reprieve, United Yorkie Rescue saved my life, and now I have been with my new foster mom in Delray Beach, Florida for not quite 24 hours. I was good for my bath for awhile but then acted up because I am so matted and afraid. I let Mom dry me and clean my ears and put my hair in a top knot with no problems.. My foster mom is going to tell you what she has learned about me in this very short 24 hours with more updates as we get to know each other. Foster Mom says: Bubbles came to me a very scared little girl. I have found that she appears to be housebroken and walks well on a leash. She does snap if I do something that scares her but I have no question that her behavior will change as soon as she realizes that she is loved and cared for. She eats her food but seems to pick out the kibble and concentrate on her wet food. She loves taking walks and pees and poops just like a little trooper. Right now she is only interested in sitting with me but is very friendly to adults and children that she sees on her walks. She is not agressive towards my other dogs and I am looking forward to the time that she will live up to her name and be the bubbly playful girl that I think she will be. She also seems like a smart dog. She found my apartment after her second time outside. She slept on my bed with me all night with all the other dogs. Today I had to go out for four hours and no accidents when I came home which reinforces my feelings that she is housetrained.
