Checkers's Story...
Here's Checkers. He's a Bluetick Coonhound about 2-3 yrs old. The pictures don't do this boy justice.....he's beautiful in person!!!! He loves to be outside, and when he's inside all he wants is to be out. With the proper accomodations, he would make a wonderful outdoor companion. Checkers is neutered and current on all vaccinations. Checkers is not recommended for a home with children as he does not seem to like them very much. We are asking for a $75 Adoption Donation to offset Checkers' vet expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Checkers, a Crocker Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
