Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Male
Slick's Story...
Slick was rescued from a local pound where he had spent the last 2 months. Hard to believe he was tossed away like he was being as friendly as he is. He adapted to being in a home very quickly. He has not had any accidents at all. He loves to snuggle in bed and sit next to you wherever you may be.He loves going for car rides. He plays extremely well with other dogs of all sizes and has never shown any aggression toward any of them or toward a human either. One flaw, he does not like cats. His foster family is working carefully to get him used to cats, but we recommend an adopter to not have cats in or around the home. A background check is mandatory when adopting a pitt bull. Please call his foster home at 573-765-3387 to schedule a visit,or you may email them at jenzme@ymail.com An adoption donation of $75 is asked to cover expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slick, a Crocker Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
