Termite's Story...
Hi! My name is Termite. I am an 8 year old, short haired, female. I recently lost my Daddy who I loved very much. He had been taking me to see Dr. Wheaton at Alicia Pet Care Center since I was a baby. He would be so happy to know I am staying with The PRC until I find a new home. I am very sweet lady. I have been the only cat my whole life and would love to be your only pet too. All I need is a lap to lay on and a window to nap by and I will be a grateful kitty. I have many good years left in life and would love to spend those with people who will care for me and give me a forever family again. Come meet me!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email us at info@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: info@thepetrescuecenter.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Termite, a Mission Viejo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
