Jaq (a pointer!)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jaq (a pointer!)'s Story...
I was found at the Crosby dump site and rescued...I'm beautiful strong dog...and when I see a cat, I immediately 'point' my front leg bends and my tail goes straight out ..guess that qualifies me as a 'pointer'. I'm the type of dog who loves to run and i need lots of exercise so plan on taking me to the dog park a lot and giving me the run I need. You can see me at Pet Smart at Shepherd and Alabama from 11-4 on Sat and Sun or call 281-753-0136 for an appointment. Woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaq (a pointer!), a Houston Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
