My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Penelope Peeps
Breed: Boston Terrier
Gender: Female
Age: 7
Personality: Peeps, AKA Penelope the Pirate, is an affectionate little girl who is always ready to give love and kisses. Peeps is just a tiny little girl at about 13 pounds. She needed to gain some weight and was so happy to have some good food to eat when she came to rescue. She came to the rescue via the Redlands Animal Shelter. Some unintelligent people literally threw Peeps into the shelter over a 9' fence in the middle of the night. To make matters a little more complicated, this poor little girl also had a ruptured eye. Boston Brigade managed to get Peeps to the doctor but her eye could not be saved. Boston Brigade paid to have the perforated eye removed, have Peeps spayed and all her shots updated. We had her eye rechecked by a specialist in San Diego and the remaining eye has a very early cataract, but her vision is fine and nothing to worry about. The vet estimated her age to be around seven or eight. Peeps is all healed now and with her foster family. She is ready for the forever home that she desreves. She wants nothing more than to be with her people, have her neck rubbed and give as many kisses as possible. She plays with other dogs well but wants to be the apple of her famlies eye, so Peeps would be happiest as the only dog. She walks extremely well on her leash and has good potty training habits. Her favorite place is next to you on the sofa, in your lap or next to you in bed. If she sounds like the right girl for you please contact the Boston Brigade Rescue.
Issues: Peeps will likely do best with a retired person looking for a best friend with no other dogs. Although she loves playing with other dogs she gets jealous.
