Here's what the humans have to say about me:
First there was Wiener schnitzel, now there is Wiener shihtzul! Our little Wiener shihtzul , Blue, is a combo of a dachshund dad and a shih Tzu mix mom
This little four and a half month old darling was not well treated in a couple of his three previous homes. However, he is now safely in a foster home where he is getting lots of socialization with people and other dogs and learning how to be a brave big boy.
Blue is very sweet and friendly. He is a typical puppy in that he loves to chew on everything. Right now his current passion is shredding all forms of paper. He also enjoys appropriate type bones, bully sticks and cow hooves.
Blue would very much like to have another playful dog to romp with (although as a baby, he is cautious with new dogs for the first day or two). In foster care, he spends hours every morning wrestling with the other dogs and loves racing through the yard with them.
Blue has a beautiful red dapple coat and two stunning “marble” eyes. Both eyes are a mix of blue and brown but each has a different pattern. Blue’s forever home should be prepared to be frequently stopped on the street to be asked about this striking boy.
Blue Is crate trained. We have had him neutered, micro chipped and brought current on his vaccinations.
Ideal applicants will have the following qualifications:
• Someone at home most of the day or able to take Blue to work.
• Previous puppy experience
• Another small dog for play and companionship
• A very secure indoor place for Blue when no one is at home
• Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 65
