Willie's Story...
Hi! My name is Willie and I am one of MaxFund's most cherished little cuties! I was found as a down-and-out stray and no one came to claim me. That's okay! I'm an optimistic fella who walks on the sunny side of the street. I'm CERTAIN there is an incredible new family just waiting to have the privilege of adopting incredible little me. I come with a clean bill of health, and am friendly and super sweet. Everyone is my new best friend, and I'm ready to go HOME. Don't let that "Senior" thing get you down! I still have plenty of love and life left in me! Ask to take me for a walk. You won't be disappointed!

PS I am also available for foster care! If you choose to foster me, all of my medical costs (should they arise) will be covered by MaxFund. Please contact Anne at fosters@maxfundvolunteers.org for more information! Love, Willie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willie, a Denver Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Denver, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
