Bubba's Story...
Yep, my name is Bubba.
I'm 1-2 yrs old not that I'm counting.
The ladies at Mercy Rescue were thinking about changing my name cause it makes me sound kinda dumb.
But as they got to know me they realized the name Bubba fits me cause I'm a good ole boy.
I'm easy, laid back and very good natured.
I look at life like a picnic- fun, sunshine, playing and kickin' back. So what if you have a few ants every now and then- that's life. Besides, with my big paws I can mash me some ants!!
I can sit on command, I don't jump on people (cause they'd flat fall over if I did).
I like kids and I'll do whatever you ask me to--within reason :-)
If you're looking for a good lookin', big dog without a mean bone in his body- call my foster mom Joy at 828-652-7980.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Marion Mastiff/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marion, or seeking a Mastiff/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Mastiff/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
