Samantha's Story...
Hi my name is Samantha. I am the sweetest and cutest and probably smallest (I weigh 8.2 lbs) Pekingese on the Planet. I am roughly 1 year and 2 months old and was picked up by a Jacksonville ACPS officer as I was left behind by my owners and wandering around lost and confused as a stray. I don't know why my original family left me and then thought a tiny girl like me could fend for myself out in an area I was not familiar with. A tiny little diva dog like me, I could be dinner for a lot of the bigger animals out there.

My luck changed when the president of Paws 4 Humanity Inc stopped by the Jax ACPS to assess some dogs at the shelter and noticed sweet little old me scared and frightened in the corner of my kennel as I was surrounded by big barking dogs. I was so scared they labeled me a bite dog. That didn't fool the president of Paws 4 Humanity Inc as she asked the Jax ACPS officer to pick me up and hand me to her in her arms. From that moment forward was the start of a new beginning for me and the start of my new life. Being cradled in her arms, I felt wanted and loved and immediately became attached to her. She put me at ease and I felt so at ease in her arms. The President of Paws 4 Humanity Inc rescued me that day along with two other dogs and took me to Orange Park where I am living with my foster family.

There are a lot of small dogs to play with in my foster family, and I am so happy and loved and so ready to find my forever home. I am the sweetest little diva dog on the planet, and the most well behaved too. Between you and me, modesty wasn't one of my strong points. I love to play with other dogs, and great with kids, and really enjoy my quality time with my foster family. I am house trained, crate trained and obedience trained and will dance the Samantha cha Cha dance if you let me.

Now that I am happy and no longer scared I would really like to find my forever home. If you are looking for a sweet, small and absolute love muffin I am your gal. If you would lke to meet me, the sweetest little pekingese on the planet please contact Paws 4 Humanity or shoot them an email and request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to me yours truly. My sweet personality, my angelic good looks, and the sweetest little dog on the planet (yes I mean me) will undoubtedly pull at your heartsrings where you can't resist wanting to bring me home. I look forward to meeting you and shariing with you all of my love and kisses that I have to give so that you will take me home forever! Love and kisses - Samantha.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Orange Park Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
