Monkey's Story...
Monkey is a sweet baby of a dog. He loves the ladies, and likes to show off to them with his cute little butt wiggle and happy dance. He is a one person dog, fiercely loyal and loving to his person, and the rest he could take or leave. He is a quick learner and in just a few days understands such commands as sit, down, off, and come. This seven years old's favorite hobby is whatever you are doing, a true cuddler who never wants to leave your side. If you have been searching for the perfect partner Monkey is the guy for you.

Monkey is currently in foster so if you are interested in meeting him please call ahead to make an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monkey, a South Haven Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
