Pinky's Story...
Pinky and her brother were living with a not-so good family who allowed her to get pregnant and then gave away her babies to god knows who. They did the same thing with her mom and then got rid of her too! When they finally realized that it is not so easy to find kittens homes, they agreed to have them spayed and neutered. But when the time came to pay for it or return them-they disappeared so the nice guy that helped them out was now stuck with 2 more cats. So we are trying to help him find a good home (like they both deserve) for the both of them. With all they have been thru, you would think they would be bitter but no, they are super sweet! So now they have been fixed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies and are negative for feline leukemia and aids. They are both fine with other cats and are even good with dogs (since they had them too unfortunately!) They dont need to go together but if you are looking for a young adult pair, these 2 would be perfect!

About Our Rescue Group...
Castaway Cats is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cat rescue based in Bear, DE, comprised entirely of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and all of our cats are in foster homes. This rescue was started in 1992 in an effort to help the homeless and feral cats in our area. Each cat we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated with FVCRP and rabies shots, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Because all our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, we do not adopt out kittens under the age of 12 weeks.

Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in meeting one of our cats, you can fill out our online adoption application at www.castawaycatsde.com. Once we receive your application we will contact you with any questions we may have, and then will set up a day and time for you to meet the cat/cats. Once a match is found for your family, there is an $85 adoption fee. This fee covers spaying/neutering of your cat, worming, all shots including rabies, ear mite and flea treatment, and Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing. All adoptions are done on a trial basis so we can be sure everyone is happy. Our goal is to find the best possible cat for you and to ensure our cats have happy forever homes.
