My story

Dawson is a happy, wiggly, good-natured 4-5 year-old, 60-pound, male, Dogo Argentino mix looking for a loving guardian. Rescued from Kendall County, Illinois, where he was brought in as a stray, Dawson had a rough start in life as someone had cropped his ears by cutting them with scissors and kept him outside with a rope around his neck. Dawson hit the jackpot by being chosen to participate in a training program at the Shedd Aquarium, were he has performed in their One World show under the name of Kobe. After spending a year and a half in the program, he is now a very well trained boy and is ready to find his forever home. Among his tricks he can sit on command, do a down command, walk nicely on a leash, give paw and other tricks on command like sitting on his hind legs and turning in circles. When not performing, he enjoys the company of other dogs and absolutely loves people! He has even been good with the otters! He is a playful, sweet boy that is very food motivated and would love someone that could continue with his training and daily exercise.

Dawson is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly preventative.
