Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky is a female Pekingese. She is about 9 years old. She was saved from an IL kill shelter. She is described as just a love bug. She loves to be loved, held, touched. She is being treated for eye issues. She will be fully vetted....spayed, tested for heartworm and given all shots before she is adopted. She is with a foster mom in Chicago, IL
*Pekingese are known to live 16 years old more, so just because she has a little age on her doesn't mean that her life is over.*
*Seniors are calmer, more laid back, already housebroken. They are full of love and life and have so much to offer!!!
Note from foster mom: She is completely deaf and mostly blind. She is completely housebroken and my husband carries her outdoors and she does her business quickly usually. She enjoys being outdoors and wandering around. One of us is always with her. I wouldn't leave her out unattended even though our yard is fenced. We have never heard her bark, but she yipped once when I accidentally stepped on her foot. She is very sweet, she loves to be held (like a baby on her back). She seems to know my husbands scent or shape and tries to find him or follow him. She is a very nice dog and our other dogs seem to understand her health issues and do not bother her.
