Pixie's Story...
This is Pixie, a 2-year-old boxer/pit mix who was found west of Krum. You can tell she’s had a hard life, but she’s as sweet and obedient as she can be. She’d like to be a lap dog, or at least right by your side. Pixie gets a long well with dogs, but isn’t too crazy about cats. She’s up-to-date on shots, has been spayed and is ready to go to her new home. To arrange for a meet-and-greet, call 940-395-1300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Fort Worth American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
