GP's Ollie's Story...
GP's Ollie is a 4 1/2 month old Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy available for adoption in Las Veags. Our mom is 1/2 Great Pyrenees/1/2 Collie and our dad is Border Collie/Lab mix. We mostly look like big Labs and some of us in Border Collie coloring.
We rescued from a home that was selling puppies to the pet stores in Las Vegas. The home was caught with too many dogs, so Adopt A Rescue Pet stepped in to save us and other adults from being taken to a kill shelter.
GP's Ollie is microchipped and comes with a free vet visit. GP's Ollie will be available for adoption on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-2pm at Petsmart located on 2140 N Rainbow Blvd (Best of the West Shopping Center), cross streets Rainbow & Lake Mead Blvd. If you are interested in GP's Ollie, please contact Naomi at dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to make sure GP's Ollie will be at adoptions this weekend. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GP's Ollie, a Las Vegas Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
