My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfie is a great dog that was rescued from a high kill shelter. Someone turned him in after hitting him with their car. They did take him to a vet who found no injuries, other than a bruised paw, but he tested positive for a treatable tick borne disease, so they surrendered him. Alfie had been treated for Ehrlichia and is doing fine. He showed no effects from his tangle with the car. Alfie is healthy and active. He has put on some needed weight, now weighs 38 lbs. He is fully grown at 2 yrs old. Alfie is very sweet, very affectionate and loves attention. He is crate trained and walks well on leash. Alfie likes chasing balls and playing with other dogs. He is heartworm negative and on preventatives. Alfie knows sit and is obedient. Now neutered, he is completely vaccinated and micro-chipped. Alfie is looking for his FUR-ever home- Alfie would like a fenced yard to play in, a warm inside bed at night to snuggle with his family. Alfie needs a home with older children- 12yrs and over.
