Chloe's Story...
Chloe is a stunning 5 year old long-hair cat originally found as a matted, wounded stray. It is believed that she became disoriented after a cruel neighbor's poisoning, then was struck by a car. Fortunately, her injuries were minor, and are now completely healed. She is now looking for a loving home where her inner wounds can heal too. Her personality is a lot like her formerly matted coat, which over time is becoming fuller, softer, and more beautiful. With time, patience, and most importantly love, Chloe will begin to trust, and become more social. She is litter pan trained, and should remain an INDOOR ONLY pet. Chloe is spayed, updated on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and Felv. If you are interested in adopting or fostering Chloe please email Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Elmhurst Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
