Hannah's Story...
Hannah is a strikingly beautiful little tabby girl with long, slender legs and huge golden eyes. She can be a bit shy in new situations, but some petting and reassuring quickly puts her at ease. She mostly just loves to be held and cuddled, but does enjoy playing and exploring at times. Hannah also enjoys the company of other cats, especially her best friend and cage mate Koala. This sweet, gentle girl wants a home where she will always feel secure and loved.

About Our Shelter...
Animal House Fund is an independent, nonprofit, stray cat rescue organization. We’re dedicated to creating and maintaining an environmentally friendly, no-kill shelter and adoption center for the homeless cats and kittens of St. Louis City.
Animal House opened in August of 2010, with the arrival of dozens of cats and kittens from the city’s overcrowded animal control facility. The mayor of St. Louis had shuttered the decrepit animal control building just weeks earlier. Had it not been for Animal House, those cats and kittens would have had nowhere to go.
Besides being adoption personnel, the Animal House staff are part of a team that responds to calls from St. Louis residents about cats in need. We provide counseling, referrals and general information to the callers, and shelter and medical care for the cats.
All the cats at Animal House come to us from challenging circumstances that include neglect, abandonment and illness. Despite their sad histories, we provide each kitty with nutritious food, medical care, socialization, individual attention, lots of love and our very best effort to find each a loving, forever home.
The Animal House building is large, airy, inviting and – to the delight of our residents – exclusive to felines. Most days, there are at least 300 happy, healthy cats and kittens in our building, waiting to be adopted. We’re almost certain we have the perfect feline friend (or two) for you.
