MASON's Story...
Mason is a two year old newife/flat coat mix that came in as a stray. He is now boarding at our vet clinic and living in their office because they don't have a kennel big enough for him free. He is 70 lbs and actually is doing well with office life!
He sleeps curled up in the office chair if you could believe it. He is friendly with everyone he meets. He needs a gentle leader to walk with and will need someone committed to basic training. But he is very sweet and loveable.
He is 2 years old and 75 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MASON, a boulder Newfoundland/Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in boulder, or seeking a Newfoundland/Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Newfoundland/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
