September 5, 2012: Wasabi had a poor start in life. He was rescued from a hoarder in West Virginia and was one of 60 dogs living in a two story "house". The windows were blackened so no one could see and and also no sunlight could come in, either. It is guessed that these dogs never saw the light of sun until they were rescued. Wasabi is positive for ehrlichiosis, and is currently on antibiotic treatment for it. He also has a middle ear infection which is throwing his balance off a bit, but that does stop him.
Wasabi is a sweet, kind, and gentle soul. He loves to have his ears scratched, and chin rubbed. He will come up to you and want to be in your lap. Wasabi is 38 pounds of pure joy!
