Johnny Angel's Story...
Johnny Angel is an energetic smart young cattle dog mix who loves everybody. He has a solid foundation in obedience, and knows how to sit, lie down, walk nicely on leash, and pay close attention to his human. Johnny would love to keep learning cool things like tricks or RallyO to keep his mind engaged. He plays well with medium to large dogs, but may be a little too rambunctious for smaller dogs. He will do best with an experienced owner who will provide daily walks and play time. Johnny is a rock star who is just waiting for that special someone to recognize how wonderful he is! Thanks to Darcy and everyone at Rover's Ranch in Runnells for teaching Johnny how to be a good citizen.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport, Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit animal welfare organization based in Adel, Iowa. In addition to caring for our local strays, we are working to bridge the gap between traditional animal shelters and no-kill rescues in 2 different ways: 1) By providing free transportation for dogs and cats from traditional shelters to no-kill rescues all over the Midwest and Canada. We also provide overnight rest stops for our furry travelers and temporary housing for those whose time has run out at the shelters, but have to wait for a foster spot to open up in one of the rescues; 2) By pulling as many dogs out of traditional shelters that are on death row and placing them in foster homes and forever homes thru our organization.
