Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Like a hollywood movie, our dashing hero escapes death in the nick of time. however this story is not complete because our hero needs a happy ending.
Joey escaped death this weekend from the overcrowded, high-kill, city shelter. The reason for putting him down - a runny nose. We were able to rescue our hero, but we need a foster home immediately for him.
From the looks of his adorable face, Joey, who was found a stray, probaby had a heartwrenching abusive past. The truly amazing thing is, however, that the scars from it are only physical, not mental, because you couldn't find a sweeter, more loving and appreciative companion.
Joey is housetrained and is very good in a crate if you so choose to leave him there when you are not a home.
Joey is only 40 lbs and would make a good apartment dog. Joey loves lying down at your feet to be petted. He also seems to enjoy the people's conversation buzzing around him. All in all, he's a nice, easy going dog. Please help Joey have another chance at a wondeful life, this time with a guardian that will not abandon him on the street! Take a good look at Joey's face: How could you resist not falling in love with him!
