Desdemona's Story...
Desdemona is a 1 year old cat. She came to us with her mother and littermates in 2012 - somehow mother and siblings have been adopted, but Desdemona is still waiting.

She is a little shy with strangers but very sweet and affectionate and playful when comfortable. Flame-point siamese mix - so the orange on her ears, nose, tail, and feet should get darker as she matures. She does well with most cats and should be fine with mellow dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Desdemona, a Santa Rosa Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
