Ricky's Story...
You can visit with Ricky (and Nikki, brown/white tabby) at the Petsmart in Lake Forest, CA (on El Toro Rd). We hold adoptions every Sat/Sun from 12noon-3pm or for an appointment to visit with Ricky & Nikki please call 949-829-0036.

Ricky is a little shy at first in new surroundings but he comes around quickly. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate kitty who likes to sit on your lap then Ricky is your guy. He likes to rub his face on yours while you're petting him. Ricky loves to play with toys and to be brushed. He is such a sweet little guy. Ricky came to the rescue with his sister, Nikki, and they love to snuggle together and comfort each other. We are looking for a new Forever Home where Ricky and Nikki can be adopted together. They must be the only cats in their new home. Ricky and Nikki are both front declawed. They will make great companions and life long friends for someone special!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
