Josie II's Story...
Josie was rescued 24 hours from being euthanized. She now needs a forever home. She is a happy, loving 41 pound yellow lab mix. Josie is just under a year old.

The perfect home for Josie wouldvbe a family or individual (with our without children) that can invest in spending time with her. Josie loves other dogs and would do well to have a brother or sister to play with. Josie needs a home where she can go running or have a fenced in back yard where she can get exercise. She is an indoor/ outdoor dog. She would NOT do well in an apartment unless you work from home and can spend time with her to give her lots of exercise.

Josie has been spayed and has received all of her shots.

For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie II, a Alpharetta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
