I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
My son, Spencer, and I were rescued when our owner sadly passed away. We've spent our whole lives with each other and would love to stay together in our next home. I take good care of my boy other letting him eat a little too much as you can see in his pictures. I don't miss too many meals myself either! We're looking for a new family who will love us and help us lose those last few pesky pounds. We're both very sweet and kind and love being pet and brushed. Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area.
Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters, and/or found roaming the streets. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.
Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
Our Goals:
*To find permanent homes for our animals
*To educate the public about responsible pet ownership
*To educate the public about Texas CARES
*To recruit volunteers and acquire support
Texas CARES hold staffed adopt-a-pets at the West Plano PETsMART every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. and on the second Sunday of each month at the Plano Petco from Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: www.texascares.org. Adoption fees are tax deductible donations.
