My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau’s Foster Home is located in Merritt Island, Florida

Beau is a super, adorable, black and tan, male, German shepherd. Beau is 19 months old, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Beau was rescued out of a high kill shelter located in Georgia and was an owner surrender that’s how we know his age. He was given up because his former owner could not use him for Police K9 Training according to the Shelter staff.

Beau is currently doing great in his foster home, gets along great with all dogs and people. He is laid back and loves to lounge on the sofa with his head on your lap. He enjoys car rides and walks well on a leash. We are not sure how he is with cats and would probably do best around mature older children, or a Retired couple, individual wanting to adopt an awesome companion.

Beau came to us pretty thin, his foster parents invested lots of time to get Beau healthy and ready for adoption. He now has a clean bill of health and is read for his forever home. If you would like to adopt this sweet boy or need additional information Please Email:luvgermansheps@yahoo.com

An application needs to be completed prior to a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.

Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior before final adoption.
