Spencer's Story...
My momma, Kate, and I were rescued after our owner sadly passed away. Now we're looking for a new home where we can live out our lives together. We're both very sweet kitties who love being pet and brushed. I'm a very gentle big boy and by big I mean BIG. I weigh 29 whole pounds right now! I'm looking forward to taking off some weight though. If you have the kitty version of P90X I would love to come live with you! I know it's rude to talk about a woman's weight, but my momma could lose a pound or two as well. Do you have a place for two very loving kitties? We would love for our family to join your's!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spencer, a Dallas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
