My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We had a female come in unknowingly already pregnant and before we could have her spayed she gave birth. There are a total of 8 puppies that lived. They are currently 11 weeks old and have had their second set of shots. All appear to be full breed. The males have been claimed but have not yet been finalized. If the adoptions fall through they will become available.

The adoption fee is $250. This includes the 3rd set of shots, the future spaying/neutering and microchipping. These are all for indoor living conditions.

The puppies have been socialized with people including children and with other dogs. They have received crate training and basic behavior training such as having to sit before they receive their food and to minimize jumping on people. But being puppies they will let their enthusiasm get away from them and they do occassionally have accidents, though usually liquid.

Half take after their mother who is on the small size. The other half look like they will be larger than average. All are extremely affectionate with people including strangers and friendly with other dogs.

Since they have not yet received their third shots they will need to be kept where they will not be exposed to strange/unvaccinated/sick dogs.

The new contact email is ddadoption@gmail.com. Hopefully the link on the side will be updated when you see this. The phone number listed is rarely answered. If the email doesn't work call Gene at (713) 269-7200. We can deliver to MacAllen and surrounding areas and usually once a month have a driver going to Houston who can deliver along that route. We can show almost any time with one day's notice in the N. MacAllen area.
