Isis's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Meridian, ID

It’s hard to believe looking at this face but someone dumped her in the outside dog run in the middle of the night at one of the local pounds. Thankfully she stayed in there until the place opened up or she would have found herself in trouble being that she has no claws to defend herself.

Fuzzy Pawz Rescue took her into foster care, named her Isis and is now searching for her forever home.

Isis is approximately 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated and de-clawed. Yep you read that right someone spent the money to spay her and de-claw her then dumped her. We don’t know much else about her except that she is SWEET with a capital S! Isis is a purr machine and loves to be pet and cuddled and loved on. The volunteer that brought her to Fuzzy Pawz said, “She is the nicest cat. If I was in the market for a cat, she would have been the one. “

So if you are looking for a great family cat Isis might be right for you. Unfortunately we do not know how she is with other cats or with dogs. But with the correct introductions and taking your time to let all animals adjust to the household she would probably be fine.

Isis is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
If you would like to meet Isis please complete an application at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm

The adoption fee for Isis is $25

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isis, a Salt Lake City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
