Katie's Story...
Katie is a gorgeous yellow lab girl, who fits the description of lab perfectly. Katie is a little shy when you first meet her, but once she is confident with you, she is a love. She then becomes very calm, laid back and isn't scared of much. Katie would like to find a home where she can help keep your legs warm while you sleep or watch t.v. with you on the couch. Katie loves to exercise and is very loyal and devoted to her humans. She would do best as being an only dog, although she gets along with everyone. She loves to hike and jog, take trips in the car and be with her humans. Katie is a beauty inside and out. If interested, please contact adalovesdogs@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Sherman Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
