Maple's Story...
Maple is a sweetheart. Somewhat shy but full of life as she demonstrates here. She really likes paper towels! Maple and Autumn were rescued from feral colony when they were just weeks old. They were bottled fed and placed in a home. Unfortunately, their new mom became sick and unable to care for them. Hence, they need a new home together that will love and keep them together for always and be part of their new family.

About Our Rescue Group...
We have been rescuing cats for over 20 years and working with and also helping to start other rescue groups. We now have a cat sanctuary for those hard to place cats from working with other groups and those rescued from feral colonies or abandoned by their owners. We hope to find permanent homes for them as we work with them or they will have a lifetime home forever at our sanctuary. We do not euthanize any cat just because it is not adoptable. We are pending our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization status. Donations welcome of any amount, item, food, etc. We are always in need of donated food, canned food, litter, etc. Monetary donations always welcome.
Our Adoption Process...
Please contact us about our fees, contracts, etc., regarding any pet we have listed. All our pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on shots, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maple, a South Chesterfield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in South Chesterfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in South Chesterfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Chesterfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Chesterfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Chesterfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
