Wyatt's Story...
Wyatt is a classic victim of the system. He is a beautiful, docile and intelligent 7 year old German Shepherd who was adopted from the sheter as a puppy and lived happily with his new family for four years. He then reportedly bit a neighbor child who ran into his home behind one of the children in his own family. Instead of understanding Wyatt's instinct to protect his pack, the family dumped him at the shelter, where (because of this incident) he wuold never be given a chance to find another home. Wyatt was facing certain death.

Now his future is bright and his hopes are up. He is well trained, respectful, and would be a wonderful addition to almost any home. This boy deserves a second chance, come meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wyatt, a Altadena German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Altadena, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Altadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Altadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Altadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Altadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
