Tonto's Story...
Tonto is a spectacular, high-drive shepherd that is exceptionally smart and athletic. This 6-year old neutered male has a mischievous side that will forever keep you on your toes, however he will thrive in the hands of a smart, confident and experienced shepherd-owner.
Tonto was turned in to the shelter by his owner. The shelter and other rescues turned him down indicating that he was “too much dog”. Trained Dogs for Adoption however, considers that dogs like Tonto epitomize the beauty of the classic German Shepherd breed. We seek to provide dogs like Tonto with the mental and physical stimulation required to allow them to thrive in a loving and permanent home.
Tonto requires and experienced shepherd owner. Regular training and structure is a must.
