Finneas's Story...
Meet Finneas the Fabulous Tuxedo Cat. He is under 5 years old (born approx. 2008), has a wonderful, mellow temperament and stays cool amongst bustling children. He loves company and affection and is incredibly trusting. We think he was a stray for so long that he appreciates every little thing that is done for him. Finn has been vaccinated , neutered and de-wormed. He's super friendly toward people, very handsome and loves attention. He is FIV positive, which means he needs to be an indoor cat. FIV is transmitted through bites between cats but FIV positive cats can lead healthy normal lives. He does not get along with cats or dogs so he needs to be an only cat. He's currently living in a playroom in Lexington (near Lincoln Labs) and is available for adoption. We just want him to find a good home. If you or someone you know is looking for a great pet, please consider adopting Finneas!

Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finneas, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
